Mrs. Hardin grew up in Baytown and around the North Shore area. She attended Baytown Sterling, Lee College and then completed her Bachelors of Arts degree in Mass Communication emphasis in Public Relations at Sam Houston State University. She came to North Shore Senior High after working as an admissions counselor and recruiter for over two years with Sam Houston State University, where she aided in the transfer process as well as first time freshman admission requirements, reviewed essays for admissions and assisted in the financial aid office. Mrs. Hardin left higher education because of her passion to educate our students on a future of their choice. She is a vital part in our college and career center and dual credit program for Galena Park ISD.

Ms. Miller was raised in Sweeny, Texas; which has a population of under 4,000. That is less than the entire North Shore student body! She graduated from the University of Houston in 2017 with a Bachelors of Science in Sports Administration and obtained her Masters degree from University of Louisiana-Monroe in Exercise Science. Fun fact: Not only did she play softball at the University of Houston, but she worked in the Communications Department for the UH football team as well. Ms. Miller has spent two years coaching softball at the collegiate level; one year coaching at Louisiana-Monroe & one year coaching at Arkansas-Monticello. In 2019 Ms. Miller joined Galena Park ISD at Galena Park High School as the head softball coach and teaching seniors. She has enjoyed working with students to help them reach their post graduation goals. Ms. Miller is a bright and important piece to our advising team.
